Две лица загинаа, а шестмина се повредени во напад со украински дронови врз Московскиот регион, соопшти гувернерот Андреј Воробјов.
Fires are visible in multiple locations at the Kapotnya oil refinery in Moscow this morning (local time). Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces posted a fire emoji on X, a signal they have used before to seemingly imply responsibility without making an official claim.
No official confirmation has been issued by Ukrainian or Russian authorities.
The Kapotnya refinery, Moscow’s largest, supplies roughly 35 to 40 percent of the capital’s fuel market. It has been struck repeatedly since June 2026, including two major attacks within days of each other that damaged its primary crude processing units. Industry estimates put full repairs at up to a billion dollars, with some analysts projecting the facility may not be fully restored until 2027.
The extent to which the refinery is damaged is still being assessed.

„Во текот на ноќта, Московскиот регион беше изложен на масовен напад со дронови. Во периодот од 3:00 до 5:00 часот наутро, силите за противвоздушна одбрана и средствата за електронско војување соборија и неутрализираа 249 дронови во 17 окрузи“, соопшти денеска гувернерот на регионот, Андреј Воробјов.
BREAKING: Ukrainian drones have just struck Russia’s Kapotnya oil refinery in Moscow, the city’s only refinery with a capacity of around 280,000 barrels per day, in a raid on the capital this morning.
This comes only six days after Trump claimed that Ukraine had agreed to stop hitting Russian energy targets, that Russia had agreed likewise, and that the world’s diesel price rise “is mostly caused by the Russia/Ukraine War, not Iran.”

🔥🛢️BREAKING: A large-scale drone attack targeted Moscow and the Moscow region overnight, on the final day of Russia’s parliamentary elections.
One of the most notable targets was the Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya, where a major fire is visible this morning.
The refinery has a processing capacity of around 12 million tonnes of oil per year.
It was last heavily struck on June 16 and 18, when both of its main crude-processing units were damaged and the refinery was forced to shut down.
By August, it had reportedly managed to restart at only around one-third of capacity.
Now it has been hit again.
